Australia, 1986

In 1986, I went to visit Australia to see Halley's Comet. I went to Ayers' Rock, which was supposed to have the best viewing in the world.

Halley's Comet was a flop, but Australia was beautiful.

Ayers Rock
Ayers Rock is a mystical place for the Aborigines. It's the largest single rock in the world.

The Olgas
The Olgas are near Ayers Rock, and are also interesting.

Kangaroos
You don't see many kangaroos in Sydney.

A Koala
