British Columbia

I've taken a few trips to British Columbia, two with my camera. The first was in July, 1993, when I visited the Rocky Mountain parks. Then, in May, 2003, I visited Vancouver Island.

First Trip: July, 1993

Takkakkaw Falls

Takkakkaw Falls is part of Yoho National Park. The falls drop nearly 600 feet, and are runoff from the icefields of the Rockies.

Second Trip: May, 2003

Little Qualicum Falls

Little Qualicum Falls is actually a pair of waterfalls in central Vancouver Island.

Another look at the lower cascade.
Little Qualicum Falls

More of the lower cascade.
Stamp Falls

Stamp Falls is hard to reach, and the view isn't that great.
Black Bear

A Black Bear as seen from a zodiac raft on one of the coastal islands.
Long Beach

Long Beach is a long beach.
Rainforest

Vancouver Island has rainforests. A lot of rain falls here, coming in from the Pacific.
Black Bear

Another black bear.
Englishman Falls

Englishman Falls is the last waterfall I visited.
Columbus Lake

The reflection in the lake was beautiful.
