Images of Bryce National Park

I visited Bryce National Park in 1992, and came back in December, 1997 and June 2000.

Mule Deer

On arriving at Bryce Canyon, I was greeted by this Mule Deer.
The Bryce Ampitheatre

The main attraction of Bryce Canyon are these interesting hoodoos.
More Hoodoos

The Bryce Ampitheatre is filled with these, the result of erosion cause dby wind and rain.
Hoodoos Again

The trails go down into the ampitheatre, and the hike out is a hot one!
Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria is one of the more famous hoodoos. This is not a man made carving, but a coincidence of erosion.
Mossy Creek

There are places you can go to cool off while at Bryce, Mossy Creek is a little visited location.
Another look at Hoodoos

The hoodoos have many angles from which they can be photographed.
Hoodoos, a fifth look

One hell of a place to lose a horse.

Bryce with Snow

Bryce Canyon, with snow, is another treat for the eyes.
Another look at Bryce

More of the hoodoos.
Looking down on hoodoos

Even more.

June 2000
